Quality Indicators Report

In addition to application development, Notion Solutions provides software testing services. Software quality assurance requires the same level of planning, design, and engineering acumen as the development process. During a Notion Solutions quality assurance effort, tests are planned, created, prioritized, and reviewed. Test execution is estimated, executed, and the results are evaluated. Bugs are identified, triaged, and worked. Full traceability between system requirements, test plans, tests, bugs, and the source code that fixes bugs is captured. When possible, tests are automated and included in the build and deployment process.

A few of the tests Notion writes includes:

  • Automated Web Application Testing – Notion Solutions creates automated tests that validate the HTTP request and response processes on web applications.
  • Load Testing – Notion Solutions load tests web applications, databases, and other servers to ensure they will scale to client needs.
  • Automated Functional UI Testing – When appropriate, Notion Solutions utilizes user interface automation tools and test harnesses to better test software to ensure it conforms to client needs.
  • Manual Testing – For testing scenarios that are not easily automated, manual testing is performed. Tests are managed, prioritized, and the results are reported to help the team make quality assessments.
